72 new trains announced in Railway Budget 2014

Indian Railways DMU trainUnion Railway Minister Mallikarjun Kharge has announced a whopping 72 new trains in his Interim Railway Budget for the year 2014-15. The minister has tried to accommodate total of 72 trains which will comprise of 17 new Premium trains, 38 new Express trains, 10 new Passenger trains, 4 new MEMU and 3 new DEMU trains. In view of the elections to the Lok Sabha later this year, the Railway minister announced these trains during his interim budget proposal for the year 2014.

Following is a comprehensive list of all the new trains introduced in 2014-15 Railway Budget:
