Poll results across the four crucial states have shown clear signals to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which has seen a clean sweep in the states of Rajasthan, Chattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. While the BJP has become the single largest party in Delhi, the Aam Admi Party (AAP), has shown a surprising surge with gains of 28 seats in the state of Delhi. The Congress party has been made to eat its dusts.

Delhi was a strong hold of the Congress Party, with its iconic chief minister Sheila Dikshit, holding the reins for over 15 years. The era has come to an end now as the Congress was able to gain only 8 seats, among the 70 seats of the Delhi state. The BJP has emerged as a single largest party with 32 seats, while the AAP has seen a surge of 28 seats in its first ever appearance in the politics.
Madhya Pradesh has shown a massive comeback for the BJP Party. The ruling party has been able to gain 165 majority with the Congress just managing to get the 58 seat mark.
