BJP Prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi has announced that if he is elected as the Prime Minister then he would return the black money recovered to all the honest tax payers of India.
Modi turns out as “Robin Hood”
Announcing this while kicking off his “Chai pe Charcha” – a unique way of campaigning for meeting the voters and canvasing, Modi was sounding like Robin Hood when he claimed that all the black money that would be recovered shall be eventually distributed among the honest salaried tax payers in the country.
“Incentives to the honest and punishment to the guilty. This is the work culture we will develop,” Modi was quoted as saying during the campaign.
Chai pe Charcha
Narendra Modi has started his new campaigning programme – Chai pe Charcha (Discussion over a cup of tea) – in a tea stall in Gujarat. The tea stall is a symbolic spot having a lot of connection to Narendra Modi, who was once selling tea in a similar stall. Speaking during the function, Modi said that Tea stalls are indeed “Footpath Parliaments” where a lot of issues get discussed by the common men.
The BJP is planning to telecast this out of the box programme in nearly one thousand identified tea stalls across 300 cities in India.
Black Money will be brought to India
Speaking on the issue of corruption, Modi said that if elected, his government would make all efforts to bring in the black money into India that is locked up in safe havens outside the country.
Modi also took jibe at the incumbent government – He said “Bad governance is like diabetes. It brings a lot of other problems like corruption with it.”
