Global cues move markets higher.

Markets have moved higher, after witnessing cuts in yesterday’s trade. Higher trading Global markets have helped the bourses to see gains in the early trades.

At 9:58 AM, the Nifty is at 5093, up by 1.2% or 56 pts.

Banking, Cement and Auto stocks have been the major gainers.

The Bank Nifty is up by 1.7%. ICICI Bank has moved up by over 2% at 894.40. HDFC Bank is up by 1.8%. SBI is up by 2%, while PNB is up by 1.4%.

Metal counters have also recovered from yesterday’s lows. Sterlite industries is up by over 2%. Tata steel has moved on by 1.5%. Hindalco is up by 1.7%.

Reliance Infra, from the Infrastructure space, has seen a gain of 1.4%. L&T has recorded a 1.9% gain on the counter, while JP Associates has seen 2% gains. IVRCL Infrastructure (IVRCLINFRA) has jumped by 4.5%.

Tata Motors has seen a whopping 3% gain. Maruti has recovered with 1% in the green. Hero motors (HEROMOTOCO), still building upon the good results, has further added 4% gains in today’s trade.
