Markets soft. Coal India, Axis Bank down.

Markets have seen declines in the trades, as the global peers trade in red. Stocks from the power sector are in upswing while selected stocks from the metal space are witnessing trades on the downside.

The US markets closed in red on Tuesday, even as the S&P 500 index fell from its four year highs. Most of the Asian markets are also trading tight.

Stocks that seen trades in green include Reliance Power, Tata Power and Cairn India. These stocks have seen a surge of a percent each.

ONGC and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories have also opened in the green.

Coal India is down by 1.8%. Axis Bank has also opened soft with 1.2% cuts, while GAIL and Cipla have opened with cuts of over 1%. BPCL has also opened in the red.
