Markets trade in green. GAIL moves up by 3.3%

Markets highMarkets are witnessing trades in green after seeing sluggishness in the past many sessions. Stocks from Infrastructure and Banking sectors are making way for the gains in today’s trade.

The Nifty is up by 32 points at 6095.80 while the BSE Sensex is up by 117 points at 20481.

Stocks that are in focus on the index include GAIL – which is up by 3.3% in the trade. The stock is up by 12 rupees and is quoting at 360.

BAnk of Baroda is also up by 2% at 573. HCL Tech from the IT space, has recovered from its losses, and is up by 2% in today’s trade. BPCL is also up by 2%.

ICICI Bank has moved up by 1.8% at 987. PNB has also gained 1.2%

Index mover Reliance industries is up by 1.3% at 816.

Tata Steel is the major loser. The stock has lost 3% further and is trading low by 12 points at 377.

Ranbaxy, Asian Paints and Coal India have all lost more than 1% each.
