Nifty on downside, back to 5500

Markets are trading with negative bias, as the Nifty touches the 5500 mark. Stocks from the Banking, Steel and Infrastructure segments have seen selling kicking in.

At 10:20 AM, the Nifty is a t 5499, down by 22 pts or -0.4%.

SAIL, from the steel segment, is down by 1.3%. Tata steel is down by 0.5%. Jindal Steel is also down by 0.5%.

Sesagoa, from the ore segment is down by 1.2%.

Heavy weight RIL is down by 0.9%.

ICICI Bank is down to 1040 – after witnessing a cut of 0.7%. PNB is down by 0.3%. Reliance Capital is down by 1.6%.

SUN TV, from the media space, is down to 300 again, with 1.2% cuts. Ambuja cements is down by by over 1%.

Hindalco is however trading in the green with 0.8% gains. Punj lloyd is up by 1.4%. ONGC is up by 0.6%.

Guj NRE Coke is buzzing with 3% gains.

Pharma major Ranbaxy is up by 1.6%, while Sun Pharma (SUNPHARMA) is up by 1.4%.
