Markets have opened in the green with handsome gains seen across counters. Nifty has extended its rally and has moved up to 5137. Midcap stocks have also surged in the rally.

The Nifty has moved up to 5135, at 11 AM, gaining 47 pts or 0.9%. GAIL is up by 2.2%. ICICI BAnk has moved up by 2%. Ambuja Cements is also up by 2.2%. DLF, SAIL, Tata Motors - have all moved by over 1% each. LT is also up by 1.2% at 1607. JP Associates has moved up by 2.4%. Powergrid is up by 1.7%. Sterlite is up by 1.3% and is trading at 822.65. Aban Offshore is up by 2% and is trading at 1271. |
