The Nifty closed at 5138, up by 5 pts or +0.11%

Hindalco rose 3.32% to close at 165.05.  Sterlite rose 0.7% to close at 827.

Bharti was another gainer with 2% surge at 299.75.  IDFC closed closed 1.6% above at 166.05

ONGC, RPL, Wipro and TCS - all closed with marginal gains in the green.

NTPC was down by 1.3%. Suzlon closed 1.7% lower at 75.5. RCOM is down by 1.3% at 158.40. HDFC Bank was down by 1.4%.
